[IMG] I have heard that it is possible during the corse of the Viconia romance subplot to get her to change her alignment with the right responses. Is this true, and if so, what do you have to tell her?

Do a search in the TOB posts and you will find your answer!

[IMG] That is not possible in BG2.

I can't say what is possible in ToB because there are strict rules here to keep ToB separate from BG2 mainly to protect from ToB spoilers!

Perhaps we can ask a moderator to be so kind as to move this topic, please?

Now that it's moved, your question can be answered. Yes, I belive you can change Viconia's alignment. You do that during the romance dialogues. Just play the game and see... Good Luck

[IMG] A question deserves an answer...... obviously this should be considered a minor spoiler.

Give "good" responses. (duh) For example, when Viconia asks you about the bloodshed around Saradush, tell her it sickens you. IIRC, the conversation after Saradush is the important one.

At one point, she asks you if you like the way she is, and that she will be ready to cast off her old beliefs for your sake, if you say yes, she turns to true neutral, if you say you like her as she is, she stays neutral evil.

The probability of her becoming neutral is higher when you turn her down (nicely) when she asks you to sleep with her again in ToB.

It also possible to convert Sarevok to the good side (which is easier if you don't let him take an oath)

However that oath, and the change in his allignment won't make a difference:(
At the end he will still say, accept your heritage, etc. And the (party)conversations with him will be the same as well.

That's not true, TGM. I just finished ToB with a good Sarevok in my party, and he advised me to reject the call to godhood, saying I had been the one to teach him what a mistake that was.

Of course, his end bio didn't change and still had him being a crazed violent psycho. *irritated sigh*

His ending does not really say he's a "creazed violent psycho", but that he's a hunted (?) or driven (?) man. I think he just never got over his mistakes, thinks he messed up his life, suffers from all the deaths he caused and that it was his own fault that Tamoko (?), his lover, died. He never found peace of mind. Again, a said ending which I liked a lot.

It said he wandered around on his own terrifying all the locals with his brutal attacks. There's not that much room for interpretation there. It was a fine postscript for chaotic-evil Sarevok, violent but haunted; but for chaotic-good Sarevok, who had not two minutes before encouraged me to reject Bhaal and asked to travel with me to seek redemption, it did not make a tremendous amount of sense.

Yeah, well, maybe I didn't read it thoroughly (spelled correctly ?). I remembered mostly this going to Kara-Tur to bury his lost love stuff. Sorry !

The Tamoko stuff worked for either alignment, I agree.
