[IMG] this may have already been posted but im being lazy.

is Viconia really worth picking up? even if you are an evil party? her 50% magic resistance makes healing her almost impossible. i have played through the game with a chaotic evil female conjurer before and i picked her up but spent way too much time trying to heal her. and when i fought against basillisks i had to rest several times because she kept refusing the protection from petrification.

i would really like to know everybodies opinion because i really dont think shes worth it.

viconia is very handy with a sling (dex 19 means she doesn't miss very often, and when she wears gauntlets of ogre power she causes much damage)and is a good healer (even if she can't heal herself half of the time!)

while there are better clerics in the game (branwen & dullard yestlick), viconia's the most interesting and has a great voiceover.

same with xan - there's better magic users, but xan makes me smile with his doom-laden remarks.

she might refuse to get healed and protections spells but that magic resistance also helps with enemy damage spells...

[IMG] i know about the magic resistance being handy and when i played i gave her the gauntlets and the hammer +2 of shock(?) yes, she does have a good voice over and if i hadnt been playing a man-hating-all-woman party i would have picked up Xan because he thinks alot like i used to.

i think she is a welcome addition to and evil party, if you want her.
