I transferred BGII SOA to my laptop to play during downtimes at work. It performed perfectly on the desktop at home but on my laptop I get choppy performance. I was wondering if someone had a solution to this problem.

My laptop is an Alienware Area51 Extreme
    Intel pent IV 3.4gig HT
NVIDIA GeForce FX Go5700 video card

The problem may be with NVidia's drivers. They always say you should download the newest version etc etc, but it doesn't always help. Here's the page:

You could also try switching the Hardware Mode off in the Graphics settings. For some reason, on my old Celeron 800 Mhz with a Riva TNT2 (also from NVidia) it works like tornado in Software Mode, but Hardware Mode turns it into a slug.

[IMG] Thanks Chev. The problem was with Open GL for some reason. When I disabled it now the game zooms along with no stutter whatsoever. Once again thank you! :D
