Viruses - Please read this everyone

    I bet none of you are especially happy with the amount of virus mails many of you are getting these days. Most of the mails are caused by the Klez virus, which will do nothing to your computer except from sending mails (but it's really annoying).

    So please everyone, just download this small program and run it to check if you're sending annoying mails to all your friends (they will not know it's you, becase the virus changes the sender's adress).

    Ah yes, I got this tool a while ago. It's handy. Unfortunately this one guy I know refuses to use it as he thinks his virus scan will get it, and I am subject to repeated mails with klez.. :-/

    [​IMG] You cannot get mail from aliases, i.e. anything@sorcerers.net. Those are only for receiving mail, and when you send mail out your hotmail (or whatever you use) mail will appear in the from line.

    In other words, if you get any mail from anything@sorcerers.net, delete it on the spot and don't open it. It'll be a virus.

    :rolleyes: I said Klez changes the sender's adress and name. You can't see who you really got it from.
