Ok, I've got ANOTHER problem. While all my other party members have these enchanted/magical weapons, Jaheira only has a normal wooden club and a medium shield. Are there any enchanted weapons fit for Jaheira. (I'm in the Cloakwood mines, if that'll help)

Are you using BG1 NPC Project? Then the matter will settle...

If you're determined to go with a shield, you can always try to swipe one of Drizzt's scimitars. And if you have TotSC, you can find a +2 scimitar in a trapped container on the roof of Durlag's Tower.

Give her points in small swords and grab that Dagger of Venom +2. It's the best weapon for Jaheira unless you want to go drow hunting (too late for you anyway). In the TotSC city, there's a +3 staff, if that suits your fancy.

I'm in the wrong forum, but BG1 NPC Project is a mod wich ads banters, items, quests and romances to BG. I don't know if it requires Tutu. It contains a +2 club for Jaheira

I agree with Klorox. Dagger of Venom and a shield is IMHO the best way to make use of Jaheira.

Quaterstaff +3 is another option. In TotSC you will also get the Staff of Striking and the Staff Mace +2.

Staff Mace +2 is one-handed, so you can use a shield there too.

Make her use two weapons. Club in one hand and scimitar in the other. That's my preferred option

Best use of Jaheira is to take her potion of invisibility and ditch her at Friendly Arm so you can add a party member that's actually useful instead.

Dagger of venom and a good shield, and you have a hardhitting girl that can tend your wounds and raise your dead (thank god for harperrs call)

I agree. IMHO Jaheira is very useful throughout the series.

But of course she pales in comparison to Tiax, Garrick and Xan. ;)

BTW, having her use an unenchanted club and casting Shillelagh for some big fights isn't a bad way of using her either.

Shaitan: dual weilding is a tough accomplishment in BG1.

My vote goes for Klorox's idea, until you can gather the money for the Dagger of Venom and she has a couple of points in daggers.

Sling. Always ranged weapons in BG for me. Sling may be poo, but when my main 'tanks' use bows, I don't want some druid running in with her staff or club to get killed. Sling for ranged!

I always let Jaheira die early....I liked Khalid's banter, so I kept him in my party. It's been ages since I've played, but the NPCs I liked most were:

    Khalid
    Xan
    Minsc
    Branwen
    Imoen

Occasionally, I'd go with Ajantis, Viconia or Corwyn...

Yup I know, but I'm trying to give myself the impression that she has the same skills in BG2 (wich I SK when starting there...) But yes your right, still it's very doable. Helps with Helm of Baldur (However it's spelled)...

Actually, it's impossible, unless you're using a mod that would dictate this thread being in a different forum.
