[IMG] I spent all my money on expensive weapons. Now I'm suspecting that one of them are bugged. The Sling of Evergard, which makes +5 bullets, is supposed to do 1d4+3 +2 missile damage, but for some reason my mage(with no strength penalty) only does around 3-6 damage with it. (Against creatures with no resistance.) But if I equip it with normal bullets, the damage doubles and the THACO doesn't increase, which isn't right. Also, the Daystar is supposed to be +4 to THACO and damage against evil creatures, but the THACO never goes down when I'm fighting evil creatures, and I don't think it's doing the extra damage either. And one more thing: can a kensai(which can't use missile weapons) use the throwing/melee axes and throw them?

Why do you say the sling should do 1d4+3 +2 damage? What is wrote is that it don't require bullet and add +2 to damage, so it would be 1d4+2 (3-6). For the daystar, instead of lowering your thaco by 2 it may add +2 to hit evil creature. You can see it by enabling an option in the feedback I think. And yes, I think that a kensai can use throwing axes.

Kensais can both use throwing daggers, throwing hammers and throwing axes. And since they are consideres sub-variants of the melee weapon they also receive the THACO/ damage bonuses related with the kensai kit.
However, sometime before someone claimed that that way the throwing weapon kensai would beat the archer in ranged combat ... not surprisingly he was proven wrong by Headbanger. Melee is the kensai's world.
