Weapon Profencies in tutu

    Hi guys.

    Installed BG1+TotSC+tutu and woe and behold (or whatever)
    Khalid dual wield?! and even worse - Kagain dual wield....

    Ok, I can take that Khalid dual wields, but come on, a dwarf? I dunno, I just feel like I'd rather take the mastery in axes and go with a good shield for him.

    And I don't quite get the point with dual-wielding in BG1 as the bow is THE weapon for almost all fighters in this game. Doesn't Khalid originally have proficiency in bows?

    I guess I have to SK my NPC's :/

    Level 1 NPCs at G3 is your friend. Set him up with exactly what you want. Add Ashes of Embers from PPG and Divine Remix from G3 before it, and you get an incredible array of choices; almost at the level of 3E+ class combos.

    My current favorites are

    Khalid as a Painbearer of Ilmater/Ranger wielding long sword and bow
    Jaheira as a Fighter/Avenger or a Cleric/Avenger (not quite as much fun breaking the immersion there) wielding scimitar, sling, and shield
    Imoen as a swashbuckler with points in crossbow and short sword building to dual wield short sword and dagger
    Yeslick as an Axe wielding Fighter/Cleric
    Kivan as a Fighter/Archer long bow and long sword
    Dynaheir as a Cleric/Invoker (again, not as much fun because it messes with storyline) wielding quarterstaff
