Has anyone else experienced this possible bug?

Here's what I think is supposed to happen:
Accept Firkraag's request to get Garren Windspear's deed to the land.

Firkraag tells Conster to kill the child. Child dies.

Go out of the dungeon, find Garren and kill or pickpocket him for the deed.

Go back to Firkraag, give him the deed, get exp and cloak of the shield. Quest done.

Here's what I did to "screw things up" :) :

Before meeting Firkraag, pickpocket Garren Windspear for the deed.

Meet Firkraag, accept his quest like before. Firkraag tells Conster to kill the child.

Immediately give Firkraag the deed (don't go back to the previous screen).

Firkraag rewards you with the same exp, same cloak AND the key to the cell.

Go back up, and the child is still alive... free him for the exp.

Go back to Garren, and he is all happy that his child is back, and doesn't seem to notice that he lost the title to his lands.

Journal says shows both Firkraag's quest and Saving Garren's child quest are complete.

In a perverse sort of way, I'd say that was legitimate (though probably not intended) - Firkraag gets what he wants, and so does Garren. I wouldn't expect someone to notice immediately that they lost a piece of paper such as the deeds, though maybe he would in a few days/weeks when he just happened to want to look at them (for whatever reason). So, if it was actually designed like that, you could see what happens if you come back some time later (though I wouldn't advise you to lose any sleep over it)
