Well, this is weird. Right now, I am playing as a female thief, and everyone is trying to romance me. I don't have the concurrent romance mod installed (or at least that part of the EaseOfUse), so what could be the deal?

    Mods:
    BanterPack
    EaseOfUse
    Expanded Thief Stronghold
    Kelsey
    Dungeon-Be-Gone
    Planar Sphere Expansion
    Ascension (I think... I don't remember)
    Longer Road (I think... I don't remember)
    Boards of Magick Itempack

I noticed it today, when Viconia made an obvious romance talk (she asked me what I thought she looked like), and then called me a male... how'd she know behind my female PC, there was me sitting behind the computer?!

Still sounds like concurrent romance mod. I once had mod conflicts, huge ones. Somehow, the "no traps and locks" mod got still installed, even thought I pressed no, and it said it hasn't been installed.
So I would guess it's a mod conflict or somesuch.

Alright, maybe I'll try reinstalling the mod. But I really don't want to start the game over... do I have to?

You can end the romance via CLUA console and/or SK. Ask other guys here.

"Concurrent romances" is a separate component from "romance anyone". Concurrent romances means you can romance more than one at a time; romance anyone means you can romance anyone (hence the name :shake: ) regardless of race or gender. Seriously, people, is it that hard to make the distinction?

    @Saber:
You don't need to restart the game simply because you re-installed a mod. But I wouldn't count on Viccy quieting down unless you do something about it. Next time she pipes up, insult her but make sure she stays in the party. Or, for simplicity's sake, just input:
    CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("ViconiaRomanceActive","GLOBAL",3)

Should I CLUAConsole everyone's romances down (except Kelsey's), or just the people who can normally romance? As in, does the Romance Anyone mod affect people like Minsc, etc, that don't normally romance?

IIRC, Romance Anyone only works with the 4 core romances.

For EaseOfUse, I have the "Romance: PC can romance one NPC regardless of race/gender" installed... could that have malfunctioned? In any case, I am going to stop Viccy/Jaheira from coming on to me... I only want Kelsey for my PC.

No, it's doing exactly what it's supposed to, allowing you to romance anyone; and by anyone I mean Viccy, Jaheira, Aerie, Anomen...ANYONE! Do you really expect it to somehow know who you want to romance and act accordingly to shut off the other ones? Of course it can't; so you end up getting all of the romances unless you tell them off. This is not a mod conflict, it is a mod working exactly how it was intended with an unforseen brain cell conflict. ;)
:hahaerr: Man, I hope you're not serious. How could it possibly allow you to romance them if they don't have a romance in the game? It can't give you something that isn't there.

Sorry Fel... maybe they had written lovetalks for Minsc...

And the game should be smart enough to tell that I want to romance Kelsey! Jeez! ;)
