Weird sibling magic?

    hi

    why is that when my lvl 18 sorcerer casts 'project image' than 'spell trigger' or 'chain contingency' Imoens (lvl 15) mage book shows up! not only that she also receives working trigger/chain (lvl 8/9 spells)!

    i like to tell myself its not a bug but a special ability protagonist mage shares with her/his sis. like it that dream where you had to lure Bhall to her to beat him 'together'? make sense right? :)

    if this is a working concept however it gives my sorcerer a lots of new toys he couldnt play with before tho so im not complaining. just curious if its a bug or something ment to be that way.

    its working for me with other sequencers/ triggers/contingencies too even casted by py projected image from scrolls which i dont have in my mage book.

    I think it is a bug, and that you should download the fixpack. It will probably be fixed then,
    And BTW, use capital letters :)

    I didn't know in SoA it was possible to a Sorcerer to reach level 18...the maximum without ToB is 17, isn't it?

    Level 17 is the maximum. If a sorc could get to level 18, he could cast 9th level spells (which he cannot without ToB or XPcap remover).

    ToB! ToB! He has ToB! :D

    its SoA with XPcap removed...

    are you sure its a bug? it works like that only when i cast tigger/contingency spells while in Project Image. as i said i like having this family thingy with her sooo much it makes prefect sense to me too! ;)

    Imoen scouts unseen with Staff of Magi coz her trap detection ability. she encounters enemies, my sorcerer way behind her cast Chain Contingency (instant casting) and can load her up with 3 spells of any lvl she currently has memorized to be fired yet again in instant on 'see enemy' trigger ... hmmm thats like little time stop :)

    anyways i do have latest patch installed tho i got some other (unofficial) fixes from Baldursdash installed over it so i cant tell really.

    It would be funny if it was that xp cap remover causing your problems ;) .

    Some of those unofficial patches and xp cap removers are incredibly buggy. Try removing them and see if your problems go away. Also, do a clean boot of your PC before you play, and do not open any other programs.

    ok tx well theres no way im getting rid of it. this bug is a gem!

    its most fun and useful loading Imoen with all those triggers. sometimes i need a sequence i dont have in my mage book nor i could ever had (being a sorcerer) so i just use my sis for that :)

    what i would like to hear tho is something like "when i cast Chain Contingency with my protagonist sorcerer while in Project Image, Imoen doesnt get the contingency but ...".
    actually i would like to know what is suppose to happen when a trigger/sequencer/contingency is casted while in Project Image?

    till then i will belive its a special ability we (Bhaal kids) share :p
