Has anyone noticed that if you add kits to multi-classes using SK, you get funny results? I was messing around with my saved game and noticed what I added a kit to my f/m/t (kensai), he gained his first lvl 6 spell at lvl 11 and he had 2 level 6 spells at 12/12/15. Anyone else experienced this?

Yeah, I had a similar experience when I was trying out a multiclassed kensai/mage. I also got an extra mage-spell per level. So I guess it just checks if you have a kit, and if you do it adds an extra mage-spell per level, whether your kit is a mage-kit or not. Can't explain you getting your first level 6 spell at level 11 though...

Kitting multiclasses will probably cause problems because it isn't really something the engine was set up to do. :)

I often do it when I start a game as a fighter/assassin but I've had no odd effects from it.

I love the fighter/assassin combo too, fighter THAC0 mixed with the assassin's massive backstab multiplier = good times.

Sometimes the effects are really minor. I've kitted multi classes who had increased thaco for no reason.

It's a cheat, nontheless. And playing with cheats is no fun, IMO.

I don't think changing yourself from a fighter/thief to a fighter/assassin is a cheat at all. You still get the assassin's disadvantages and a slower level progression for each class. I'd just say it grants an extra few classes that weren't origionally avaliable.
