[IMG] I have Edwin in my party and after my rep reached 19 he had a speech about lost opportunities a few times and finally quit. So I loaded earlier savegame changed into slayer to lose two rep points and quickly (in the same or the very next round) changed back to my half-elf form. Even though I still got 'your control is slipping message' but it did not bother me much. What did is the fact that now everytime I quit a party required area flames arise around my character for a moment. I quit/loaded etc. but it didn't cease. Is something wrong?

How many times can you change into the slayer before bad things start happening? Or is the only problem the damage you take when changing back?

The flame thingy is when you enter/exit an area and have ToB installed. I still haven't figured out why this godly annoying thing was put there.

[IMG] I never saw that effect.

    I don't have ToB.

I still don't understand why people ask questions in this forum with ToB installed. THAT EXPANSION CHANGED THINGS from original game and noone without ToB installed can't answer. Is it so hard to understand?

Well, the first time I played BG2 was with a good aligned party and I didn't change into slayer at all. Hence I didn't know that it occurs only when you have ToB installed. I learned it no sooner than after reading Lokkens (thx) post.

I changed just once. And the only problem are the arising flames esp. that there is no comment about it in the message window. After many frequent changes Cowled Wizards and Paladins might be attacking you but it's only because your rep would be very low.

Sure, at first, but then it becomes pretty annoying esp. that I don't know whether it's something wrong or not.

Hence ToB is causing the problem I posted the same thing in ToB forum. Let's continue this discussion there.

[IMG] hmm.. my post got wacked. Oh well maybe it was a bad joke. I try to write better now.. I had those flames around me all the time and didn't notice any other problems. I even thought those were just a slight improvement to make your character bit more l33t. So answer to your question.. no I don't think something is wrong.
(OOT: /me is back with his original nick)

//edit ah my bad.. didn't refresh and the question was answered already
