[IMG] I think no one has done this before so I thought someone would like to know about this...

When you are rescuing Gerran's child from Firkraag, do the follow: Enter the Firkraag's Lair and make your thief drink a Potion of Master Thievery if she/he isn't good enough at pick pocketing. Then cast Improved Invisibility on your thief or hide in shadows. He should also wear the boots of speed, though, I'm not sure is it necessary.

Nevertheless, run with your thief right next to Conster and pause the game. You should do this without starting the conversation with Firkraag. Then pick pocket the mage and pause the game right after it. You are now trying to steal the key for the jail where Gerran's child is kept, so look at your inventory and see if you have now the key (assuming your thief succeeded). If you have something else (like a silver ring as I did) do the pick pocketing again quickly and pause the game. Now you should finaly have the key.

Then fake talk to Firkraag and run away. The dragon won't start the conversation and you have the key. Go back to up and free the child and get the exp from it. Then return back to Firkraag and now start the conversation with him. Pick the choices so that you get the Deed quest. (You have to be evil to get the right options!) Then Firkraag sends Conster to kill the child but he/she is already far from the jail, remember?

Anyways, return all the way back to Gerran. Then pickpocket him and get the deed. Then talk to him and get the exp from saving his child. (Btw, the child dies when you enter the house :p )

Then return back to Firkraag and get the exp from getting the deed. Firkraag says that he will give you a cloak too but he didn't. Maybe this was 'cause I had the Stuff of the Magi installed, who knows. But IIRC the cloak isn't worth it, so who cares?

Well, do you think this is cheesy?

Anything that involves fake talk is cheesy. Period.
Can you get tis to work without fake talk? Although I have problems with the fact that the child dies.

[IMG] Fake Talk is a trick there you initiate dialogue with a creature(i.e Firkraag), then pause and then force attack the creature. Do it over and over again, and the creature will eventually die.
But watch out, if you wait too long after you've attacked until you initiate dialgue again, then the creature will turn hostile...

It would, but it would still be cheese.

That is such a ridiculous engine exploit that it should get its own category of cheese.
