You will need a diamond , rogue stones and a berjuril for access to certain areas and to upgrade a weapon. The rest I think you sell safely.

    Nope, you aren´t playing diablo 2 ;)

You can only upgrade a musical instrument with some of the stones ...

Kaiso has a point. A lot of gems they they are valuable because they are spell components, but only one is directly used in the spell it says it is used for. Who knows, perhaps Throne of Bhaal will feature a Cromwell-type guy who can do stuff with them?

[IMG] That´d be cool - we all read wonderful tales about dwarven ironworks ... Cromwell gave us a foretaste completing the mace of disruption and the dragon scales ...

 Besides: It´s well known that diamonds are a girls best friend, so who knows - maybe you can boost up/ rescue your romances with them in "Throne of Bhaal"...

Diamonds are for selling, as far as I can tell. I believe Rogue Stones, however, are the most expensive gems in BG2, followed by kings tears and star sapphires.
