    I am kind of curious. I mean, the dictionary definition of the word monk is:

    If a monk is lives in a monastery and is devoted to his order, what is it? When I choose a monk in the game, what 'order' do I follow?

    You can't choose an order in BG2. You can in IWD2 however.

    I suppose it's somewhat like the generic cleric.

    Weren't the Candlekeep people monks/scholars/priests of Oghma? That's what I understood from the game.
