[IMG] Perhaps you love the smell of rotting corpses after you have hacked off all the fingers and licked them for the great scent of blood you cannot get enough of. (Ravager)

Or maybe you enjoy the thrill and adrenaline of running around musty old dungeons filled with skeletons and ghouls that pop of of nowhere and you must look carefully for traps and disarm them or you could be shattered and blown into two million bits of bone and flesh. (Thief)

If you feel lucky, maybe you want to worship an exalted god like Helm all day and say how freaking good and lawful you are. You will have to get used to people like Sir Anomen, Keldorn, Ajantis, and junk like that. Despite these disadvantages, you get the joy of annoying all of your friends and family with ranting speeches about Helm and how they should all throw their life away and join a convent. (Cleric)

Perhaps you have more ideas. Post bravely, my friends.

  2. I am the first of what I am sure will be a large number of Paladins posting on this thread.

I like the ranting sppeches, though. :)

[IMG] Woah, you are *supposed* to enjoy long speeches if you are a paladin or cleric! I was making, in a way, a travel brochure! I'm glad it appealed to you!

Well, for me, I'm not reallly sure what I like. I like rangers, but my constitution is too low. I like thieves, but my dex is too low. So I'll probably end up a crazy mage hiding in his tower all day. I got my INT tested and it was 15.5 you know...

[IMG] In real life, I'm a cleric. 100% devoted to my God, but also able to function as a tank when the need arises. I'd have to say that I'm a 3E cleric, since I think its stupid to limit myself to "non-edged weapons". If a band of thugs were approaching intent on harming me or my flock, the last thing I would reach for is a mace. Gimme a gun, sword, bow, spear ... something to shed some blood and hopefully back them off.

In 1st & 2nd Ed I always played paladins .... I'm going to have to rethink that now. ;)

I think I would be a half crazed CN or NE necromancer or other wizard kind. Living in seclusion in my apartment. Communicating over vast stretches of land.

If NPC classes are in, then i'm definetely a commoner (possibly kit/prestige class - tavern drunk:D)- check out my stats I don't qualify for anything else. Time to practice my lines -
"*Burp* - Oi need some Ale!"
    "Pleased ter meet yuh, stranger"
"It's guid te see a fine sod sich as yersel'"

Although I am devoted to God (let's not try to raise any theological debates here), like Math, I could never think of myself as a Cleric. A druid fits me a lot better, I think; I just love the outdoors and the natural things.

[IMG] C'Jakob, theological debates are fun!

Anyways, I suppose I'd have to go ahead and say I'd be a good Neutral Evil mage...plotting, always plotting. :hahaerr:
