    All topics will be closed at some point no matter the amount of replies but because of engine limitation. As you could have seen that such thing happens with random babbling threads - which does have the most replies.

    Another thread which had pages and pages of replies was "oneword story".

    However, any thread that contains at least one interesting post near the bottom normally continues. So, the point is not which topic, but what style of posting.

    My experience on other boards is that the topics about war, terrorisme and religeon always last very long. Firearms is a popular topic too.
