[IMG] Well, the only one I manage to remember is Baldurs Gate 2. But why would you like to do that? You just get to lvl 8 or 9 in Bg 1, something you do in half an hour in Bg 2. Is there something I overlook which makes character importing a good thing to do?

[IMG] The sense of continuity and satisfaction you got from BG all the way through BG2 with the same character? Kinda nice to take the same character to his destiny IMO.

Oya their great. I'v got no one in my party, I like to be a loner that way theirs no complants from anyone:) I had to start over because my computer crashed:( but as we speak i'm on my way to the bandit camp. So far the hardest part of the game is when i'm attacked by powerful monsters and npc's. i almost died in the mines more then once. the only problem i'm having is that i cant use spells with the armor(full plate) on. do you know of any good armor that i could use and use spells?

Your going to have to wait until BGII for that armor!

The only armor you can use and still cast spells is the Robe of the Archmagi. To get the best AC as fighter/mage without armor is to buy the expensive Robe of good/neutral/evil Archmagi. These can be bought in High Hedge, west of Beregost in the building of the powerful mage there. Deavorn in Cloakwood has Bracers of Defense AC6, these also lower your AC. Use protection rings and cloaks to lower the AC some more.

In BG2 you can get elven chain, which lets you use your thieving abilities/spells while wearing it. I imported a Human fighter, dualed him at Lv 10 to a mage(INT 19, due to tome), and in TOB I got Aslyterund elven chain +5(AC 0, Protection from normal weapons). Sorry if i did this in BG1, but all more reason to buy BG2
