    You are The Midnighter. The Midnighter was a secret product of the labs of Henry Bendix, part of his Stormwatch "Academy" program, the members of whom were duped into becoming Bednix's personal Stormwatch team. One of many individuals given superpowers by that ruthless personage, he lost his original identity in the process. He was transformed into "Night's Bringer of War", a living weapon designed to "hit thing's until they don't work anymore. The Midnighter automatically analyses every situation he is in as a combat scenario, his computerised senses instantaneously checking out multiple battle strategies until he has located the best one to win the fight at minimal effort. To aid him in the actual fight he has heightened reflexes and strength, and a superb knowledge of most forms of combat.

    Uytyyn; John Constantine is the kind of guy who, when dying of ling cancwer, sells his soul to several lords of hell and then slits his wrists... forcing the Lords of Hell to heal hhim inorder to not to haver to go to war against each other :D

    Ooh, and iirc, he has also chopped off the wings of an archangel... with a chainsaw :D

And his way is the demise of the failed American dream. Although full of hate, he cares about his city. All he wants to bring the world is truth. Spider Jerusalem, conscience of the City. Frightening thought, but he's the only one we've got.

    Well, Spider also takes anti-cancer pills, so the negative health effects of smoking are more or less eliminated. No reason not to! ;)

    @Arabwel

    That chainsaw + archangel thing happen during Ennis's run on that series? That sounds like the sorta thing he'd write :)

    AMaster, I have no bloody idea; all I know of him is readuing a sinle comic (the one about the Newcastle incident) the fitrst of Books of Magic and having once had a v. obsessed friend....
