    That GIRL is a VAMPIRE and if you pay her instead of the shadow thieves she'll help you get to imoen. Following her is the evil path(not that there's much difference)

    there are two different sets of quests, if you join the shadow thieves or Bodhi. I suggest you take the set you haven't tried if you have completed one of them before. Though, I never like working for undead (there's just something about undead that's not to be trusted)

    So Tyresian, it makes perfect sense to join instead of fighting them, eh?

    As has been said there isn't much of a difference. You get better loot joining the vamps but that's it.

    Yes, thieves are not very friendly, they are bad and evil and they steal and backstab, however, but they are reliable partners - unlike the creatures of the night. Would you join mindflayers? Well, for both species, vamps and illithids you´re not more than cattle.
