[IMG] Ok, there is obviously a massive online community going on, not just on SP.

So i kinda thought, what would i do if, all of a sudden, all the ISP's decided to shut up shop and from that point on, there was no internet, and no plans to make to replace it by new technology.

I know that for staters i would have to do a hell of a lot more work at work, :( rather than nipping onto SP every hour or so.

    Heh. Good one, Jesper.

I think our economy would drop like a rock. There are so many businesses that depend on the internet now. We'd rebound, but it would be a huge friggin' hole to climb out of.

That's why attacks like those of last week worry me.

I'd get my arse in gear, and get a new girlfriend, instead of just giving them all the cold shoulder. :p

I'd finish my coursework in time!

I'd find more time to read some decent literature.

I'd feed my guinea pigs on time.

    I'd use...the PHONE!!

I'm going to have to go with Nobleman on this one.

There would be this massive migration to the beaches.

Especially during Spring Break, now that all the guys in their mid-40's know what to expect. :1eye:

Perhaps revert back the real world? Talk to real people? Start writing in lieu of typing? Read books instead of chatting? Enjoy the great outdoors instead of wasting away in front of the monitor?

Nah, I'm not ready for that.

[IMG] Personally, I'd expect a lot of SP-addicts to show up on Taluntain's doorstep, and they would start putting up pink Post-It notes on the front door, on the walls, and soon all over the neighbourhood. That sort of forum might prove to be a bit painful to administer, but hey - it's a forum... ;)

Haven't really figured out what to do about the chatrooms, but I can assure you that there's no need to get a life just yet... :p

If you one day need to "shut down" the Internet for some reason, you can do that here, in case you missed this infamous off-switch...

I was too scared to press the button. It might be an omen, the entire internet may be destroyed!
As for chat, there are these brilliant things called 'telephones'
