    Is it a message board online service that certain sites can use or is it specifically developed for Sorcerer's Place? I'm a bit naive about all this...

    OK, I think I got the original question screwed up, are you asking what he used to make BoM or are you asking whether it is his exclusivly or what?

    It's Ultimate Bulletin Boards i think. I've seen another couple of boards that use the same software.

    The link at the bottom of the page says "Powered by Infopop Corporation UBB.classicTM 6.3.1 "
    At a guess, click on it and it will tell you all about it.

    He's right, it's UBB, but Tal says that he doesn't want to use it, he only uses it because he paid for it :)

    Well, after driving the sole developer on UBB to the brink of mental breakdown, I got a promise that all the features I want will be in the next release, so we'll still be using UBB for a while longer at least. ;)

    Anyway. Boards O' Magick is simply the name for these message boards of ours, like Sorcerer's Place is the name for the website. Very simple. :)

    It's rare to find a good place to post and find reliable help with games.

    I use to be a regular at 3DO until they changed over their forum a few months ago. Just not as fun there any more...

    I used to have a set of message boards on Coolboards - did anyone use theirs? I think UBB is better though.

    BTW, Coolboards is now obsolete. I think my friends and I may have accidentally destroyed it. :p
