At the end of the game, the PC prevents the murder of the last two Dukes of Baldur's Gate. Winski Perorate appears and teleports Sarevok and himself to the Thieves Warren, where Sarevok flees to the Undercity.

My question is, what is Sarevok planning to do down there? Wait for the PC to come and fight him? Doesn't seem like much of a plan to me.

Winski Perorate mentionned that he trained him in the "darkest of rituals", does that have anything to do with it?

Also, how come Tazok and Angelo are there at the end? Unless they were awaiting Sarevok in the temple, it doesn't make sense that could have joined up with him, with the PC right on his tail.

Oh, logic quite likely has nothing do with them ending up there. Other than the whole place being well hidden and extremely well defended. So I'd imagine Sarevok trying the last ditch hideout inside a bunker, like many IRL dictators to date once they've realized the proverbial sh!t has hit the fan.

I always assumed, since it's the Temple of Baal, that he felt stronger there for some reason!

And what is that "darkest ritual" Winski mentions?
