I have used the Summoning of Massive Mountain bears for sometime now and find them to be very powerful, when i loose a battle i reload and summon them, no monster i've fought has swatted one down.

Does Jaeheira get to shapechange into a mountain bear in later levels?

What is the most powerful Shapechange ?

and When does Cernd change into Great Werewolf?

[IMG] I believe that Cernd is able to Shapechange into a Greater Werewolf at 13 level. It's fairly powerful, but if you want to see a powerful Shapechanger... make your own.

I made a Fighter, dualed to a Shapechanger (had to use Shadow Keeper to add the kit) at 10th level. The Fighter's Thac0 and hitpoints, combined with the Greater Werewolf form, make for a juggernaut indeed!

I used the Trainer once after the items disapeared from the Stronghold.
its stupid that they do disapear, but i needed that flail of the ages.

I don't call that cheating, i call that stupid on Black Isles part.

I don't believe you can initiate dialogue while shapechanged, however Cernd has spoken while he was a Greater Werewolf. Otherwise you can pretty much only become a Loup Garou once a day at 13th level.

I think the Greater Werewolf is much weaker in BG2 than in BG1. In BG1 they could only be affected by silver or gold weapons, in BG2 cernd was getting hit by hobgoblin arrows.

i've used Shadowkeeper to change weapon proficiencies of people i used in BG to the ones i would have given them, and funnily enough, the npc's i finished BG with are all the ones you can get in BG2 as well :)
