Am I missing something? All together it does 3d6 damage per round with a *save* for half. What...? Oh, it can kill everything lower than the 8th level, sure, but who needs this in ToB? The hold is quite pointless as well.

The only plus I can see is that apperantly it affects only enemies. But even so you can deal out far more damage even before engaging in to combat with an enemy.

Storm of vengeance is a very good spell.

Sure its not going to do a lot of damage but because of the multiple types of damage it does it makes it very difficult for the enemy casters to cast without being interrupted. It has large coverage and you can disable/hamper more casters with one cast for a few rounds.

Huge area of effect, interrupts enemy casters, doesn't affect allies. Lasts several rounds. Doesn't sound so useless to me.

This isn't meant to be a huge damage against a single target type spell. But if you cast it right as you're going into a big battle with multiple foes, you might find that you're actually getting your money's worth! Especially if your preventing high level casters from getting their big gun spells off.

Bah, I never bother to use this spell. Implosion, on the other hand, is so much better IMHO!

Aye, Torgal used it, but my party is smart enough to leave its area of effect. It was more of a little annoyance really, not much of a threat. Considering the 'thing! Torgal summons...now that one is scary! :mommy:
