What is this guy's problem?!?

    [​IMG] In Trademeet, at the tavern, a man screams something along the lines of 'A Bhaalspawn, here? No, not again'--or close to that. He promptly is lightninged, falls unconscious, and disappears. What is his deal?

    I tried all conversation options. I've also tried to kill him, but no luck.

    You can send one of your NPC's in to talk to him and he'll tell you some of his story.He mainly seems to be comic relief but I wonder if he'll show up in the expansion?

    According to me he's a peon of a powerful, mysterious wizard who (just as Gorion and the Harpers and probably a thousand other organizations/individuals) is very interested in the Bhaalspawn. The wizard has put a geas on the poor commonor which makes sure that he recognizes children of Bhaal on sight. He then automatically sends this information through to his Master, after which he simply explodes to avoid that the Bhaalspawn he found uses the poor buggers knowledge to go after the Master. Later on, the Master resurrects the poor commoner, and after wiping his memory, he sends him out again, with all he remembers is that he has to search Bhaalspawn, and has done that more then once before.

    I could be wrong of course :D

    Lord Bane. . . quite creative. I was actually guessing along those lines. I just don't like to think I've left any quests unfinished.

    *runs for cover, sensing impending wizard/sorcerer doom*

    -those battles tend to get messy for the bystanders
