    Hey fellow rpg fanatics. :)

I finished BGI + TotS last night and want to export my char to BGII, so i was wondering which items CAN be exported and are worth exporting.
    I'm quite sure about these:
    -Gauntlets of Dexterity
    -Gauntlets of Ogre Power
    -Ring of Wizardry
    -Ring of Holiness
    -Cloak of Displacement
    -Full Plate Mail +1
    -Cloak of Balduran
    -Helm of Balduran

(If any of these can't be exported to BGII, please tell me)

So, can you guys fill in the empty spaces ??

Normally, only golden(i think?) pantaloons can be imported. But you can cheat -> dump everything before the first sequence starts.

Ah, you're right: i tried it out myself and those 'golden pantaloons' was the only item left in my inventory.
Oh well, it would've made the game even easier.
My dual-weilding uberfighter is awesome. :D

Actually, you CAN import quite a lot of items into BGII from BGI. The thing, is though, they don't appear straight in your inventory. I'm not sure how things worked for you guys, but when I import the golden pantaloons, they are behind the painting in the room adjacent towhere you start <the trapped painting with a dagger+1 and a potion behind it>. The various items appear at different intervuels in Chateau Irenicus. Not to give away too much, two items that appear later on are The Horn and Claw of Kazgaroth. The way the system works is that various magical items are replaced with the new ones <generally they are better so it's OK>. Also, I'm not sure, but I think that the longsword +1 is replaced by the longsword+2, Varscona. Does that make sence to someone???

[IMG] There is a patch witch enables you too keep them on importing, it can be found right here on the site. :hippy:
