What level does Anomen usually spawn at?

    I picked him up right after Irenicus' dungeon (I did solo the dungeon though), and he was at level 11. That seemed a bit high to me.

    They spawn at levels according to your party's average level, though how the game figures "average level" is a mystery to me. If you're at the right level, they'll spawn at the same level, but if you're in between two of their incarnations they'll spawn higher the higher level one. Most NPCs have ~4 incarnations between 7th & 13th level, and another for ToB. Anomen's are 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, & ToB, but he spawns two levels higher than your average party level in SoA. This is because ANOMEN6.CRE is the 8th level version, ANOMEN7.CRE is the 9th level version, and so on.

    That's just weird, though. His experience was waaay beyond mine. I picked up Kelsey, who joined at level 9, and Anomen had a lot more XP than him as well.

    Yes, it is weird, but why complain about a good thing :)

    For what it's worth, some NPCs spawn levels are also dependent on the protaganist's class. Minsc, for example, should spawn at lvl. 8 if you're a fighter, but in the game I'm currently running with an Avenger>Fighter he spawned at lvl. 10.

    Level 11 is the lowest I've seen him spawn.

    He spawns at level 8, but it's dependent on your PC's level.

    I personaly do not get Anomen at all, :p , but I do know that levels of NPCs are dependent on your PC's level. Or is it party's XP?
