what level to dual class?

    ive heard that you should dual a kensai to a mage at 9 but some people say to dual at 12

    when is right

    i need some advice from someone whos done it succesfully

    No, dual at level 9. 12 is way to high unless you don't care if your character can cast level 8 spells(which I'm sure you want him to). At level 9 you get most of what you will get out of the fighter class. And if you dual at that level, you don't loose any mage level due to dual classing. I have a level 9 Kensai/level 17 mage(I think that's right). That is powerfull enough as a fighter and mage. If you went higher as a Kensai, you'd be loosing a lot as a mage.
