What makes you unique?

This is supposed to be a post where we all sit in front of our respective computers and type a little bit about ourselves. Something that makes you a little different from the average boy or girl, man or woman.

me:

Well, I'm a teenager going to prep school in SE Pennsylvania (Delaware Valley area). Dungeons and Dragons has always been one of my interests, back from when I got the original "Player's Manual" by Gygax himself, up to every IE game in 2000-2001, and now into 2002, settling into the 3rd Edition of D&D Pen and Paper. I also have a general interest in computers and computer games, which has tapered off lately.

What sets me apart? Well, despite being somewhat of a RPG geek, I am pretty well respected among my school, and work hard to keep in shape. Still haven't gotten the girl thing, though

 

How many others here can say that they've killed scores of cows by riddling their brains?

 

There's under 50 people in the world who has the same last name as me.

Good Question BTW.

 

My ability to fit in everywhere and to get along with just about any sorts of people. Heck I work in psych ward for the criminally insane (ie the real bad seeds) and I get along jolly even with them. It is a curse as well as a blessing.

 

I can cook anything- anything at all- and make it delicious. I once made a fine meal out of flour, butter, salt, a bush full of little wild blueberries, and a rattlesnake.

What makes me unique is my amazing ability to stay awake and stare at a computer screen for days on end living off of coffee and these weird little chocolate bars I found in some old K-rations of my grandpa's(I think they've got speed in them?).

Wait that doesn't make me very unique does it

 

What makes me unique eh, hmm lets see.

My out going personality for one. I have the ability to make friends with anyone I meet. I can dance up a storm, My fiery hair, great with computers, can sing a melody, listen to everyones problems and hopefully provide insightful advice, rescue people from elevators, and liven any room i enter with my bubbly personality. Ok enough bout me how bout you hehe

 

When I speak in a low voice I can silence a whole room and when I smile sweetly people sometimes start to get nervous and feel uncertain ... don't know why though, maybe because I consider myself calm and polite - but that's most certainly not unique.

 

One of the deciding factors in our uniqueness are the experiences we all must endure throughout our lives. In part, what we have gon through makes us who we are.

As for me, By the time I was 26 years old, I had experienced many things that some people twice my age and older had not yet experienced. I was almost killed while in the army and had lost my first wife to cancer. For a time I was a single father raising my son. I remarried and after the birth of my youngest I was going to college and working nights as a security guard. I love to cook, and can prepare main dishes with the best of them. At my current age of almost 40, I have learned to really appreciate the little things in life, like my adopted daughter (Serena Lynx).

What makes me unique?

Well,i have a stupid name, but i know two persons who have it. So,that isnt unique.

I can annoy people.I can make friends easily,and more easily lose them. Also i have pretty long hair and my DNA code is different. I forget things easily.(you know studying and stuff)

LOL. My sense of humor, I guess. I seem to get along well with people if I try (I don't always try, though ). I'm very intelligent, but that's hardly unique.... I'm a mature teenager and a female gamer. That makes me an endangered species

 

i suppose an ability to use 'both sides' of my brain. i can draw quite well yet can still make use of the logical/analytical side for studying science.

 

Well, i have specific right thumb deformation i cant bend it on one side, but i'm not freak!

 

I am morally opposed to everything on the planet except Extremist and Spamming (two completely contradictory things)

 

What makes me unique is that Baldak married my Mom after his 1st wife died and adopted me, and didn't put that into his post until I said something!! Um... I can out belch most of my uncles, and yes Baldak too. People I don't even know call me weird, so I guess that accounts for something.

 

I have a disease.

I keep it in my pocket, although on most days it's happier if it sees the Sun. It gets...mad...when it doesn't get to see the Sun. Sometimes, though, when it's raining, it likes to hop out and dance and dance and dance - and then, you know, I won the Nobel Prize and it got REALLY pissed off so it stopped dancing and then the day came when that damned fizc- fizc- uh...phsychologist came to my house and boy it just JUMPED RIGHT OUT!

 

I'm a unique individual, just like everyone else.........

Actually, I can't think of anything other than the old DNA and life expereience things already mentioned.
