Just what the topic says....is there an event or item that reminds you of a particular SP member? Feel free to post multiples

Playing a Bioware game with the avatars/portraits of SPers.

 

Every time I see of hear a cell phone I think of DoTW. I think of more I'm sure but my Flexeril is kicking in and I can hardly type.

 

Seems I scarred you for life, Brallrock.

As for my personal ones, everytime I see a church, Kitrax's wedding next september pops up in my mind.

When playing HoTU, Vix'Thra reminds me of DS.

I can think of a few more... but I've got a bloody *HOMEWORK* to do... more to come!

 

What Kuemper said about the avatars.

 

When I see a grumpy old man moaning and groaning about technology and the youth of today, it always makes me think of Harbourboy.

(just kidding, sugar)

 

Yesterday I saw a bumper sticker with a smiley face ( ) that said, "Smile! Jesus loves you." Did Ofelix come down from Canada?

Besides that, I can't help but think of you Shelly when ever I drive by a 'Shell' gas station.

 

Sometimes sitting on the can reminds me of Saber's tagline (Or at least the one he had in January--the one about dying on a toilet)...

 

When I make babyfood I think about Darkstrider (no salt)

When I bake cookies I think about Kuemper.

When I come across a T.V. evangalist I kind of think of Chev ( no offence friend)

When I put my baby in the jolly jumper I sometimes think about HB because of that pic in sorcerers pictures

When I see Bagpuss I think of DS

When I see a certain MSN emoticon similar to or Enrique I think of Ara

When I see a bus I think of Chev No idea why

When I see Hayley Westenra I think of DM

When I see babies I think of Dragonfly

When I see older children or Jewish people I think of Rally

So you can see why I started the topic - I'm SP obsessed!

 

@Shell: Probably because I've talked about public transport on occasion because I can't drive. Hehe.

@Dragonfly: Hehe, none taken.

I basically tend to think of SP people when I come across something that matches their interests.

 

Ha! So, I take it that like Brallrock, everytime you see or hear a cellphone, I pop to mind?

 

Whenever I hear someone speaking french, I think of Chev. I think its just because its really fun to pronounce chevalier in french.

 

DM? I thought I was the one who was always going on about Hayley Westenra.

Wow - that seems like a whole different era, even though it was only a year ago.

What other ways are there of pronouncing it?

Working mothers - Rallymama (I know there are plenty of others but Rallymama is the first to come to mind)

Cellular telephones - Disciple of the Watch
Turnips - Takara
A Song of Ice and Fire - Spellbound
Grizzly Adams - Splunge
Contraception - chevalier
Quebec - Ofelix
Heavy metal - Tassadar (not sure why)

 

Are ye daft, man? 8people be the one who be playin' with swords, if'n ye recall.

Though chev is clearly a good one for Irish coffee; he loves both booze and the caffeinated 'ambrosia'.

I think you'll find that chevalier also rates himself as a swordsman.

 

As do I. But I'd say 8's devotion has us all beat hands down.

 

The only thing that reminds of you guys is when one of the more peculiar SP names come up. Then I think, "So that's where so-and-so got his SP name from!"

And sometimes when I travel... last time I visited Utah, I wondered if I'll run into Kitrax.
