What's in a title?

    A question for those with custom avatars, and therefore, titles underneath.

    What do the titles mean? Sure, some are self or avatar-explanatory, but some insight into the titles would be nice.

    Sometimes, the titles explain the personailty of the person, what kind of attitude they're likely to take when posting.

    Here are a couple of examples, and my own analysis:

    Me - "Puritannical Fop" - That's just me; I'm a paladin in that I dont drink, smoke, do drugs, drink coffee, associate with evil, help others, etc. However, I'm often completely outrageous, camp (but not gay), rougish, and silly.

    Tiamat - "Angel of insanity" - Tia is a creature of chaos, the embodiement of which is insanity. She is a rebel, a rule-breaker. Some might even call her insane. :D I also believe there is an actual reason behind this, although it escapes my mind.

    Sometimes, titles relate to people's general outlook on life, such as:

    Demogorgon - "I hate lawyers" - Demogorogon's outlook is an anti-lawyer one.

    Often, the titles can be an ironic contrast on the avatar, such as

    Shralp - "Made for lovin'" - yet his avatar is that of a dustman, a miserable group of gits who sit around waiting for death.

    ArtEChoke - "Ladies, please! One at a time!" - yet his avatar is a huge fat blob thing.

    Of course, many times the title just goes with the avatar, like

    Damona Silvercloud - "You don't see me" - her avatar is a shadow thief, get it?

    Sorvo - "If you tread on me I will consume you" - the avatar is that of a snake, which I once saw eat a whole deer thing without chewing. :eek:

    There are in additon, those which relate to past events or happenings, by which that person is made (in)famous, and memorable:

    Sir Belisarius - "Viconia's BoyToy" - Bel is a paladin true, yet he has fallen in with the CE drow priest! What a character he is!!!!

    Finally, there are those that are designed to confuse newbies, and make people seem mysterious and incomprehendable by mere mortals -

    Extremist "Harmonium disguised" - this will only be understood by people who have a large knowledge of PST, and are thus worthy in Ex's eyes. (HINT: Anarchist!)

    Obviously, I am the Master; just forget about the rest of the title, it really doesn't relate in any meaningful sense. ;)

    My name sais I am not exceptional at anything (though i believe that everybody is unique), while my title sais that Evil will 'harm' Evil itself.

    It isn't a very funny name considering i am a humorous person. some better names would include:

    The green Dragon.
    do my wings look big in this?
    green paint?
    make it dance.
    does it do britney numbers?
    can i have chips with this?
    watch it this bastard is horny?
    i am the fire starter.
    look at me i am a funny colour.
    don't tease the big green scaly thing.
    stumpy the wonder dragon.
    i ate sir Dargorn.
