What's the highest total you've ever rolled?

Recently I started a new game, decided on a chaotic good human fighter and then came to rolling for the abilities, I managed to roll a total of 96 (which at the time I thought was quite high considering I didn't cheat), after juggling I rearranged them accordingly Str:18/00 Dex:18 Con:18 Int:18 Wis:18 Cha:6 (ring of cheese, I mean... influence will sort this out)

Whats the most you've ever rolled on creating a charater without cheating, and how did you spend the points?

 

My very uber Ranger/Cleric. They naturally roll for high stats, so that's besides the point...but you wanted highest stats rolled so here they are.

Btw, it will take you AGES to roll these for ANY single class character.

3 less than your average (so 93), and I substracted the points from strenght, because I really neaded the charisma. That belt will maximise strenght as well, for I neaded the rings for spell extras.

A good interpretation of your question would be an in-game throw, plus bonuses. I can't really remember my highest score in that category, but it was something like 50 for a thief I had. A natural 20 plus item bonuses and lots of skill points spend to the skill. I think it was 'Stealth'.

 

@Faraaz: OUCH! guess I should get back on that and give it another try, just out of curiosity, how long did it take for a total of 102 take to come around?!?

 

How long it took me? Well...ages. I think it was in excess of an hour.

I was keen to powergame a Ranger/Cleric multiclass, because, as we all know, they are the most powerful melee characters in the game, period. Which is because of all the druidic AND clerical spells they get, in addition to a Ranger's insane fighting skill. But I digress.

Yeah, I wanted to powergame the ranger, so I kept rolling till I could put 18's in Strength, Dexterity, Constitution AND Wisdom. I just rolled for an hour, and ended up getting lucky.

PS: I forgot to add, these were rolled for a Ranger/Cleric, not a fighter, so you're going to be rolling for a while if you want those stats.

However, you'll find that rolling up 96 for a Ranger/Cleric is embarassingly easy.

 

@Faraaz: Ah I c now, I think I'll give it another go with other multicalss chars and see if I can top that, although I think 96 for a single class is pretty damn good I'm sure there's no chance of the big 108, but I can always try...
