What's up with Trollford?

    I'm playing bg2:soa with TDD installed through the second time and some new area called 'Trollford' appeared on my map. When i went there it looks just like Windspear except the dungeon has a different interior (and just 1 floor) and in the cabin some old guy initiates a buggy weird dialog that you answer with the phrase 'Frost salamander' and then the games locks because the dialog doesn't resolve forcing me to do a Task Manager shutdown. I just avoid going in the cabin and move on with my adventures after reload.
    I know there are are a few script bugs with TDD but has anybody actually figured out what Trollford and the cabin guy is for?

    I never had that bug. The guy in the cabin tells you how dangerous the area is, and that the ruins are full of monsters. Nothing important.

    Also, there are many areas to that dungeon. It's quite big.

    It looks like that dungeon has multiple areas but i can't get the 'stair-icon' to show up when hanging my cursor over the stairs. I'll have to try it again, I guess.

    Yes, I do have the latest patch installed, but then again, I have so many Weidu add-ons and other tweaks added on to the original game, i'm lucky I haven't more problems! :) This is the only real glitch i have ever ran into while playing BG2.
