So let's hear what party you're playing with at the moment.

By the way whenever I play an IE game I have a rule that if a character has been dead for more than 8 hours he is dead for good.

My current party :

Sherilyn Moonbow : Cha good Moon Elf level 4 Paladin of Helm.

Sherilyn is the leader of the party and it was her decision to journey from Suldanesselar to Luskan and then to the Spine of the World.
She promised two people whom she saved from goblins, that she will train their boy, Keldorn Firecam as a paladin when he is old enough.
She always helps those in need and both she and her sister Fiona are well liked in Suldanesselar.

Fiona Moonbow: Neutral Good Moon Elf level 4 Druid:

Fiona is Sherilyn's sister, even though she is young she is one of the wisest elves of Suldanesselar.
She often spends entire days in the royal palace, looking at the Tree of Life.

Jerreth is a very agile young elf who surprisingly also hails from Suldanesselar.
He is the lover of Sherilyn, and he is trying to gather enough courage to ask her to marry him.
He joined Sherilyn's band without a second thought.

Crystal Moonmaiden : Neutral good Moon Elf level 4 cleric of Selune

Crystal is a very young elf who was saved by Ellesime when her family was slain by orcs (Is that original or what?)
Since she has always been one of Sherilyn's closest friends she happily agreed to join her band.

Terran was born in Suldanesselar.
At a very young age he discovered that he was extremely stealthy, this quite often led to dismay among the other elves.
He has known Sherilyn since he was a child, and he cares for her like a sister.
He is determined to use his skills to keep her safe from harm.

He wields a shortbow.

When the group arrived in Targos they actually had a sixth member, the Sorceress Reyna.
Reyna lived in Suldanesselar with her friend Joneleth.
Unfortunately she was killed by an orc's axe during the attack on Shaengarne Ford.

Fortunately the group happened to meet another party member.

Gabriel Lightbringer: Chaotic Good Aasimar level 2 sorcerer

Gabriel is from Sigil, he stepped through a portal by mistake and ended up in Faerun.
Unfortunately for him he ended up in the region called Icewind Dale.
He encountered the group just as they were burying their good friend Reyna.
After being told that the Legion of the Chimera was attacking towns throughout Icewind Dale, he immediately offered his asistance.


The party is currently on the way to Shaengarne Bridge (the map with the malarites)

 

Well, here is my butt-kicking band of scoundrels.

1)Arkados Blackmire, Lawful Evil human male Fighter 7/Sorcerer 7, with all his spells chosen for their party buffing or enchantment characteristics: Emotion, Horror, Cat's Grace & Bull's Strength, Blur, charm and dominate.
Specialty in longswords and with every feat pumped in armored arcana. Wears chainmail armor.
Has a charisma score of 21 at the time I left off.

2)Katherine Blackmire, Neutral Evil human female Fighter 4/Rogue 10. The party's trap remover and scout. Dual wields a pair of shortswords with weapon finesse and wreaks havoc with her sneak attack.

3)Ander Lolias, Chaotic Evil human male Fighter 1/Barbarian 13. The big and dumb guy with a ton of hitpoints. Deals tons of damage with a two-handed axe, his rage abilities, the power-attack feat and a Bull's strength from Arkados. Took a level of fighter so that he could wear the heaviest armor to enhance his tanking abilities.

4)Kalvairn Levensrau, Lawful Evil elf male Wizard 14. He's the generalist wizard, with all his feats pumped into spell focus and elemental masteries. Deadly with fireballs, acid spheres and death fogs. Also has a multitude of useful spells for divination and other misc. purposes.

5)Shura, Lawful Neutral human male Monk 3/Fighter 11. Dual wields a bastard sword with specialisation along with a short sword with weapon finesse. The party's mage-slayer with his supreme saving throws, many attacks per turn and his suprisingly high AC even when unarmored. Can scout as well as Katherine and be as good a tank as Ander with the expertise feat. Basically, he's the Feat guy, as can be expected of any fighter.

6)Generic Cleric (can't remember her name),Lawful Neutral female human cleric 14 of Bane. Nothing special. Heavy armor and mace or morningstar with a shield. Buffs and heals the party. Brought her along simply because healing is needed.

Every character has a min CHA score of 8 and an INT of 8 as well. I simply despise those who pump their other stats to godly levels in exchange for hideously ridiculous and roleplaying unviable CHA and INT scores.

So what if my party is weaker than yours? At least they do not have beast-like intelligence, being able to at least feed, wash and clothe themselves and are unobstrusive to the eye at best to most, as opposed to being repulsive abominations.

 

I hate min-maxing

Thanks to weimer's ease of use mod my chars already got good equipment.

Sherilyn got a plate called Celestial's aura (i think) it is a very cool platemail

 

Hey jasper I have that plate armor! It is really good. Wearer is under the effects of protection from evil for one thing. My current party is actually only one guy. I am soloing through the game with a VERY powerful half-orc barbarian, his name is Gagron. His stats are: level 19, strength=28, Dexterity=13, Constitution=18, Charisma, Intelligence, and Wisdom=8. If any of you want to duel with him come join me on gamespy. (hackers will be prosecuted)

 

I don't think I'm high enough level

so pretty much all my guys are about 1-3 levels behind where they should be, , which makes it interesting

 

Here's mine:

Deathmage: Human Sorcerer, level around 15? The party's offensive spellcaster with a truckload of deadly spells (purely devoted to damaging) and the highest kill count in the party.

Dodo: Tiefling Fighter8/Rogue7. Hitwoman of the party, dangerous when armed with blood rage. Dual wields longswords.

Djenne: Aasimar Priest of Lathander14, the healer and launches powerful spells sometimes.

Craig: Human Bard15, buffs up the party, wields a hammer.

And my other party:

Makado: Human Priest of Bane, wielding flails. Your generic priest.
Slythe (I know.): Tiefling Fighter/Rogue, probably the funnest character I've played. This guy can go toe-to-toe because he has 3*s in Short Swords. Packed with feats like Hamstring, Arterial Strike, Dirty Fighting, Amberdexterity, Two-Weapon Fighting, etc.
Krysti (I know.): Tiefling Mage/Rogue. Works surprisingly well with Slythe: she specializes in what he does not. Uses bows.
Madin: Drow Fighter. Your generic tank, wielding a greatsword.

Yeah, so I'm using a modified version of the UPP. I have yet to complete the game once, though I almost did with a party of my own until I lost the save. Now I'm just trying to get through as fast as I can to see the rest of the game.

 

I only have four people in my group right now. More power quicker.

1. Benanthalin (Heh I know) Half Elf Fighter level 15 I think. Leader of the party, high hitpoints, leads the charge into battle, leads in kills, and generally just a warrior.

2. Zeppalas Elf Sorcerer, Level 16 very powerful, already into death spells.

3. Geff Trapspringer-Halfling theif, skilled in all the arts of a theif.

4. Kellsy-Human Cleric, healing abilities.

 

Solo Pally 2 / Sorcerer 27 in HoF. Oh yes, she rocks.

So far haven't received a single XP from kills in HoF, which is a bit naff, but I suppose with only one level to go it really doesn't matter much. The only thing to deal her serious damage was a failed saving throw when she annimated a festering drowned dead. Bang -> re-load. I do hate rolling 1's.

 

I've changed my party around 20 times in the past three days....everything from nothing but red wizards to solo people.

Right know I ahve a morning lord of lathender that I'll add some barbarian to, dwarven fighter that I'll ad some rogue too, human wizard that I'll add some fighter too, rogue halfling that I'll add some sorcerer too, a monk that i"ll add some paladin to, and a druid that i"ll add some ranger to. But I'm considering going tolken style, and AARRRRGGGHHHH!!!!! must find a good party.......

 

I can't remember my party off by heart so I might post it properly later but it has:

Llendril - Wild Elf, Sorcerer. She's Chaotic Good. She's at level 10.

Helgren - Half-orc, Barbarian. He's Chaotic Good. He is at level 10.

Vradena - Drow, Silverstar of Selune. She's Chaotic Good. She's at level 9.

Laeris - Drow, Rogue. Lawful Good. Level 9.

Sheris - Moon Elf, Druid. Neutral Good. Level 10.

I got all my names from the pre-made parties. I'm not very good at coming up with my own fantasy names, so they suited my perfectly.

Another one with plane-touched blood, this being of evil is, strangely enough content to follow the commands of a paladin desperate for help into battle. Although distrusted by almost everyone else, he is above all else, a man of his word, and will fight to the end, though what brought him to such an accord is yet another mystery. He is comrade-ina-arms with the half-Tanarii Raster, following her loyally. Sort of like a reverse, evil, brilliant Minsc and Dynaheir.

the ranger druid is a fighter and he wil have 15/15 druid and ranger
the monk is another fighter type and will ahve 20 levels monk, 10 of paladin
the moon elfs are my bombarders, especially the evocer

 

I only have a female human Sorcerer named Arcania and a male drow fighter named Solaufein. The party seems weak, but in reality only the drow fighter is (50% of the party, hehe)
