[IMG] This has happend to me twice in ToB, and I'm not sure if its a bug, or if its supposed to be this way.

I just fought the big crew against me at the Oasis, and their Lothander cleric started attacking her own archers that were attacking me.

And once before, when in the North Forest, their cleric (forgot which ethos) started attacking its own teammates also.

My party consists of 5 good aligned characters, so is that why it did it? Or is it something else?

I'm not sure, but it could be some kind of programing error or bug. I had lichs casting gate then attacking the pit fiend when it was already protected from evil. As if it was trying to make the battle more challenging for itself.

Enemy clerics tend to cast Blade Barrier. When your enemies are all bunched up together, the blade barrier hurts the enemy cleric's allies which may be why they start fighting each other. As for liches' Pit Fiends attacking them, it's generally because they don't cast Protection From Evil on themselves (or else because Keldorn has cast his super Dispel Magic on them).

when the lich attacks it's own pit fiend, it's normaly becouse your party is protected against evil. then the pit fiend, who is both and enemy of you and the lich, can't attack you. since the pit fiend don't attack you, but is an enemy of the lich, the lich attacks it.

i have seen the same thing happen with beholder and ilithids attacking eachother. and also, if you dummon two or more demons and don't protect them against evil, they will turn on eachoter.
