When to fight Firkraag?

    [​IMG] If I save Iltha and return to Garren Windspear for the XP & reward, can I go back later to fight Firkraag? I'd like for my characters to be higher level....

    If you've managed to take out the Shade Dragon, then the Red Dragon should be no problem -- IMHO, his minions were always a lot more trouble for me than he ever was.

    Firkragg isn't too bad if you can survive the first breath attack, even at the lowest levels. Just don't hold back on your resources.

    I always found the Shadow Dragon much harder then Firkaag, but last night I kicked the Shadow dragon and then Firkaag slaughtered me.

    I took out Firkraag with my only Paladin and some meatshield elementals.
    (The armor pieces you pick up in the dungeon above is really worth the looking ;) ).

    But I insisted on clearing the Shadow dragon without being level drained... :mad:
    Now that was a fight.

    Use the 5th level druid/cleric?? spell magic resistance, read the last few lines of the spell definition to see why. Jahiera has this spell IIRC at level 9
