I know this is going to sound really dumb, but where in the world is Dynaheir? I have already played BG2 and thought it would be good to get BG. I never had such a problem finding people in BG2. I have been all over the Gnoll compound and can't find a gosh darn thing besides xvarts, gnolls and a tome thingy that the Nashkel inn guy can't identify and I don't have a mage to cast it. Help! No spoilers please, although I have a pretty good idea of what happens because of BG2

[IMG] She is trapped down in one of the deep, round pits. Just go down there with one of your peeps and talk to her to make her join you.

Specifically, she's in the pit that's on the far right side of the gnoll stronghold. You can walk down into a pit and uncover the black fogged area by having a character walk on the little round stakes that circle the perimeter of the pit...you probably walked by her pit several times ;)

Indeed, somewhere up in the Gnoll Stronghold, where you met a lot of Gnolls she is... When you already have almost the whole map on screen, she is in the pit that's most east. Good Luck!

  5. Oh yeah, if you have Edwin and Minsc, forget it. Either drop one of them and let her stay in your party or kill her. Easy.

Edwin wants to kill her and Minsc wants to rescue her. Minsc will always help Dynaheir when there's a fight. Minsc and Dynaheir cannot be seperated a normal way.

[IMG] Answer to above mentioned spoiler:

Oh sure you can separate them! Just send that stupid girl into a house and reform your party. Never ever go back into that house - she's doomed in there!

BTW: About the Tome, a priest at a temple should be able to identify it....
