Where is BOH in beginning of game?

Ok I just started a solo game with a fgt thief. I havent played the game in a while and forget most of the info. I would like to find a bag of holding soon because having one character is a pain. I dont want to be spoiled by any info but I really need this item. Thanks!

 

Not to spoil too much, but the only Bag of Holding is in Spellhold. You can go there as soon as you raise enough money to sail over.

Or you can do as I do when I'm lazy, use SK and get yourself a BoH...Saves alot of time

 

You can get gem bags and scroll cases very early in CH2 from many merchants.

Though I haven't play this myself, I have heard that the Unfinished Business mod puts a bag of holding in the Copper Coronet.

 

I just got a BoH in the Thiefs Guild. Since this is my first time through with a thief I don't know if it's supposed to be there or if it's due to one of my mods.

 

I'm pretty sure there's no BOH in the thieves guild in the original game. I've played through that several times and never been given one.

 

The first BoH you get in the original, un-modded verison, is in Spellhold. I'm pretty sure of that.

 

Well I cheated. I hate cheating but to solo this game you really need a BOH. I created one with shadowkeeper because I was forgeting which crate I left my goodies. I feel bad about cheating but at least I have my well earned goods.

 

You only get the bag of holding in the theives guild if you have the extended thieves guild mod where you get two new guild quests.
The BoH gets really useful when combined with the bottomless bags component of the ease-of-use mod.

 

Just to clarify something...

I know that items mysteriously "dissapear" afer a whil of been dropped on the ground, but what about when placed is some chest or container? will it be there still after a weeks time and longer?

Whenever I put an item in a container I always keep to one area, usually the docks and then I mark it on my map.
BTW my sister was playing a game recently and In the Copper Coronet bit she picked up a wolf pelt which could store IIRC 20 items. I may have had some item mods installed but no mods which chaneged any enemies, quests etc.

 

The wolfskin bag is from the Unfinished Business mod IIRC.

Nope, it's a Wolfskin Bag, which has much less storage space.

Unless you put them in a container in an area which subsequently changes. I put stored some items in a chest in Da'Arnise before I killed Torgal but when I went back there afterwards the items were gone.
