[IMG] Ran around doing all of the quests for Renal Bloodscalp, got to the point where you have the option of getting Edwin to join and, because of my fat fingers, I pressed 2 instead of 1, he went aggro, called in his buddies, and then teleported out. Where'd he go? I can't open the chest to get the letter I need... grrr.... (and no, I don't have a recent save point)

If you had to fight him and his buddies, I think Edwin is gone for good.

Sorry, but you're out-and-out screwed on this one. Edwin is gone permanently, and with him the key. Now, I can give you some console codes to reset Edwin and pop him back in, but I can't promise everything will be as normal. It's likely the thieves in Mae'Var's guild will remain hostile, which is not a big problem since you'll be killing them anyway, but something may even go wrong with your reward from Mae'Var if other variables got set.

Your best option would be to load your autosave and redo as many things as you have to. But, if you've been looking around for Edwin and your autosave is later than the decision point, tell me your level (so I can put a level-appropriate Edwin in), I'll give you the codes, and we'll just hope nothing goes wrong.

Just out of curiosity, what does "ikkle" mean?

In context, I'd say it's a diminutive, similar to "little".

@Felinoid: Correct, 'ikkle' is how my 2 year old daughter pronounces 'little'. Also, thanks for the offer of console codes, but I'll just miss the Edwin parts on this run through, and do them next time.

Gethrac mission not working/want Edwin to join party

[IMG] Ok. Edwin told me to go eliminate Rayic Gethras. When I go there, the door won't open and now Edwin won't talk to me either. I could care less about the mission and I know how to CLua Console Edwin's key, but I want Edwin to join the party. Is there a Clua Console code to get him ready to join that break the game?

My advice would be to use the CLUA console to teleport yourself to the inside of the house then complete the quest normally. Easy and does not break anything (sadly I do not know the exact code off the top of my head but I know there are sites with them just search for the CLUA console codes). I think the basic thing is to use "MoveToArea("XXXX)" or "GoToArea("XXXX)" it has been to long for me.

    By the way...

    HOLY RANDOM THREAD NECROMANCY BATMAN!!!

EDIT: Found it! CLUAConsole:MoveToArea( x ) - Teleports selected characters to the area x. x must be in quotation marks. Make sure you select everybody. Try codes AR0315, AR0316, or AR0317. So MoveToArea("AR0315"). I think one of those is the correct code to Rayics house. Once you are in you should be golden for the quest and getting edwin.

    Thanks YH.

I found that CluA Consoling this "Global("EdwinJob","GLOBAL",1)" did the job for me.
