Where to find freedom scrolls?

Yup. It's kangaxx. Damm that imprisonment spell. I've managed to kill him fast enough so that he didn't have time to cast imprisonment on my party (Or he kept casting it at my bezerker, I can't tell it happened so fast), althoguh it was a hellufa fight. Daystar doesn't seem to affect him and neither does the mace of disruption. Only weapon capable ot hurt him was my newly bought two-handed sword for Minsc and his bezerk thingy doesn't seem to protect him from imprisonment. So, to the question. Where do I buy freedom spells? Although I managed to keep my friends from being imprisoned, I'd wish to have some scrolls, or even some "writeable" spells but after checking every temple in athkalah I'm pretty lost. Where do I buy them? Found one in the underdark but I used that one for a quest.

There is a duergar merchant in the Underdark who sells them. He has four, I think.

 

Really? Four you said? I thoguht he only had one. Is there nowhere else where I can buy those?I'm allready out of the underdark so I can't go back there.

 

You can go back to the Underdark. Just go back the way you came out.

 

I am not sure but Ribald may sell them in his special stash - he has a bunch of high level scrolls.

 

If Ribald doesnt, which I'm not sure he does, then the duegar merchant is your only hope.

 

I think he does, actually. But can't you cast protection from magic, if you've picked the scrolls from the A-Mart.

 

Ribald definitely sells them in Chapter 6, and IIRC he has an infinite supply of the scrolls.

 

Just go back into the underdark or buy them from ribald. Hope that you're not romancing anyone imprisoned!

 

Does imprisonment really have an affect on romances? If that's true then that gotta be a glitch. I'd understand if you forced whoever you was romancing out of the party but being imprisoned is not exacly something you can prevent easily.
Oh and thanks for the tips. In fact, I found some freedom scrolls of Ribald later in the evening when I got home at my last entry. Those will come in handy, I hope.

 

Both Imprisonment and Flesh-to-Stone screw the romance. Even I hate that aspect of the game romances. I dont think there is even a fan made work-around for it, too deeply hard coded.
Did that last sentence make any sence

 

I meant that when I got home the 18th, wich was the time of my last post previus to my next last one, I found it out by myself. Bah. Confusing.
