I have the ease-of-use mod installed and I wanted to get the upgraded girdle. Unfortunately, I seem to be missing one of them, and I don't know where to find it. Two of the three you need to get the upgraded girdle you get really early in the game. The first is in Irenicus' dungeon, and the second you get at the circus tent. What about the third?

Can't you buy one in the Adventurer's Mart? It might be the same as you've already got but I'm sure there's one in there.

the golden girdle is the missing one. it is a questreward from the knights of solamnia, which you can only get if your PC is a mage-type.

therefore you may want to CLUA it. ;)

    That's just cheating :nono:

If you are a mage/sorcerer, just get them back to their plane, and before they leave, one of them gives you the girdle as reward.

 That's why I don't remember finding it anywhere. That's if you go back into the sphere and tell them about the order of the Radiant Heart? Then they give you the girdle? Geez, it's been a while since I went through with a mage - I'm not even sure of the dialog there...

Now getting them back to their plane? How do you do that?

From what I remember, if your a mage, you can ask Teos for help. he will direct you to Ribald who in turn will charge you 9000 gold for the pleasure of sending them home - he explains all.

Teos is the Cowled Wizard who directs the Mage Stronghold by the way.

The only way to get the girdle is to send them home, you cannot pack them off to the Order on Demon hunting duties unfortunatly.

Oh, so you can send them back after you escape the sphere? I never knew that. Teos is the guy that appears the first time you enter the sphere after completing its quest? The guy who gives you the apprentices?

Yeah, thats him. Do you have the multi-stronghold Aldeth? (that could solve your problem)

Indeed I do, and since I haven't sent the Knights of Solomnia packing to the Order of the Most Radiant Heart, I should be able to complete this quest.

Generally, I don't like modding my game but I did install the multiple stronghold mod this time to do the strongholds of classes I do not normally take, like the cleric and the bard for example.

Ah, the infinite experience quest! Bugs and cheese galore! Try interrupting the mage whom Ribald sends while she is casting her spell. When she dialogs with you, select the "I don't know, let's ask them" option and she'll stop her casting. Then you can start the whole cycle again. You get a belt and 45k exp each time. You'll need a lot of crackers to go with the Velveeta, though.

Virne, you may call it cheating but in this case i think it would be editing. i couldnt smell from here that he plays a mage or has the Multistrongholds installed. you can solve the problem with another mod that may not insult your paladin heart.

there is a mod that allows you to keep your BG1 items (not only the pantaloons).
