[IMG] So we know that the PC's father is Bhall. Sarevok your half bro and Imoen half sis. You will see all your other siblings in Throne of Bhall. So what about the mother? Is she going to appear in TOB or BG3? I'm not sure how the story will go cos she'd propably be an old bag unless shes elven. But since each game is like a whole family reunion thing even though it won't propably be a very welcoming one.

I have tried to start a new BG1 game to find some clues. But nothing is mentioned else is mentioned that You are an orphan. Bhaal made ofspring with a woman of every race. Except for human where he made two (Imoen-saravok) or even three (Our Hero). There are at least 5-6 mothers out there in Faerun.
But ones own mother must have known Gorion or at least known what safety Candlekeep gives. But since the maincharacter can be many races I don't see any specific person from BG1 being suitable.
PErhaps we never find her. That may be our lot in life :p

[IMG] Jaheira is your mother....ha ha. Ok yeah I'm just being silly but the idea is funny. She's ashamed of producing Bhaalspawn so she hasn't come clean about it. But her motherly instincts tell her to keep an eye on you.

euuugggh yuck, after what I've been doing with her recently. Actually, I seem to remember someone else making the same suggestion after getting a similar surprise after BG1 i.e. (SPOILER) you chat up Imoen only to find she is your sister.

Of course whoever your mother is, she'll need to be of the same race as everyone's main character, which can be any of the races. Hopefully this rules out the designers selecting an existing NPC.

Bhaal is not bound to have a human. he is a god. An avatar is the Way a god chooses to walk the prime material plane.
Bhaal was made flesh ,as the intro said too, so he possibly only had one form. So he chose a humanform, which could make halfelves, halforcs and humans. But he must have been able to change form else we wouldn't have the option to choose a pure elf, would we?? :p

To quote John Travolta in "Look Who's Talking":

Yeah, this is my baby, but we don't know who the mother is! ;)

OK, so bhaal has a child with every race, but at the end of BG1 you hundreds of statues. So that means bhaal had hundreds of offspring (well that's a big family) and that there are hundreds of humanoid races in faerun.

Back in BG1 if you explore the Candlekeep libary you can find a second note from Gorion in which he says your mother is dead.

At least two were human (Sarevok and Imoen, yourself being a possible third), so he probably had lots of children of the same race. Reading your biography in BG1 you get a bit of information about your mother. "She was a (yourrace) from (wheretheycomefrom). She was (briefdescription). Fearing for your safety she gave you to Gorion..." or something.

Does bhaal even reproduce the way mortals do? He's a god(when he created the children) so he must have some more sophisticated(but less pleasurable) form of reproduction.

Hey Ironbeard, that description reads like one of the letters home that William d'Word writes for Dwarfs to send back to their parents from the big city of Ankh Morpork (Pratchett). That would suggest that Alaundo was writing his histories for the benefit of the Dwarfs. Maybe them long legs will finally understand our importance.

The note in Candlekeep sais your mother is dead, but if Sarevok can come back, why can't your mother... :)

    NOTE:
Bhaal was Not a god (more like an advanced human) when he made his offspring. He was made flesh, like mortals. He wanted to fuel his own efforts to BECOME a god again, which is the backbone of the BG-stories. This is the intro of BG2 if anyone has seen it. :D

I have seen the intro. It said bhaal walked the earth BEFORE the time of troubles. Therefore he was a god when he created the children!
