Because there is no Ring of Wizardry in Nashkel.

Next time, put a more understandable subject. Welcome ro the boards.

IIRC there is a hidden ring of wizardy in the woods outside of the friendly arms inn. So a search on this board, or d/l the walkthrough for the correct coordinates. It can be difficult to find.

There are two Rings of Wizardry! ;)

    Ring of Wizardry - Friendly Arms Inn (AR2300, X 2554, Y 3769) (pre v.1.1.4315, post v.1.3.5512)

This is if you have an updated version with TotSC installed.

Other one is in BG city somewhere. Chapter 5.

This ring is great! Without getting it so early on I doubt I could play any type of mage in BG1 as my main character. I mean come on, they get so few spells you'd have to rest every 2 mins to keep casting. When you get this ring you can keep casting those Sleeps and Magic Missles as much as you like.

Oh, as for it's location if you haven't already found it, it's just east of the starting area at the Friendly Arm Inn, under a big tree. Here's the coordinates: (x 2555 y 3759)

Oh, and if you dont have the latest patch, and/or TotSC it might not be there.
