[IMG] If you don't know about the Fantasy Masterworks books, it's a series that reprints older stuff.

Anyway, I can only afford one at present and by the time I can afford another it may not be available so my question is, which do I get:

The Drawing of the Dark by Tim Powers?

    or

The Dragon Waiting by Francis M Ford?

I've read the synopsis and reviews for both of them and am really interested in both but can't seem to make up my mind..

Has anyone read either or better yet, both, of these? Which would you recommend? Thanks.

The Drawing of the Dark appears more regularly on my Amazon Recommended Reading List so on that flimsy basis I would choose that one.

thanks HB. after reading some reviews I was actually already leaning towards it. the only thing that was really keeping the dragon waiting in the game was that one of the reviewers said that he'd first heard of it when Neil Gaiman praised it on his online journal and I'm a Gaiman fan.
