Which NPC is great for the Underdark

    [​IMG] I'm about to visit the Underdark for a second time around. Anyway, which NPCs are the most entertaining? I am bringing Viconia this time around.

    Yeah, that is some thing I've always wanted to try, but never got around to. I think Viconia will have some interesting things to say down in the underdark.

    I think that Jaheira has as much comments in Underdark as Viconia, which of course is not surprising... she's not the one to keep quiet...

    My second time through the Underdark (party without Viconia) I noticed that the drow prisoners in the cage on the second story of the inn were of the same noble house as Viconia. I immediately started a game with Vicci because I thought there must be a quest in relation to the prisoners (freeing them or something). But when I finnaly arrived at the cage, nothing happened! :mad: Yet another unfinished quest? :confused: So much for hoping that taking Viconia with you to the Underdark would add something special. :(

    True, the only difference is that Viconia gives you advises and once even speaks from your behalf.

    Hmm, nope, there are no specific romance-related interactions with Viconia in underdark, AFAIK... if you mean that with Phaere, then Jaheira and Whinepigeon also react to that.

    I was surprised that Viconia didn't have more to say in the underdark. Only what she says in all dungeons... "I have memories of a place such as this..."

    I did run into trouble with her romance there. With the romance mod, her romance is active in the underdark. She got to the point where *someone* finds her. Most unpleasant to be fighting them in the midst of Ust Natha. I wasn't ready to have all of Ust Natha turn hostile on me.

    Some might say its my punishment for having romance other than the creators intended. But hey, the creators only intended to let me have Annoyman so I figure Viccy is my reward.

    I fixed the problem by Clua'ing Viccy's Lovetalk back a few steps. They were fun steps anyway. No harm in repeating them :D
