Which thief skills are fine with stopping at 100?

    i know pick pockets, hide in shadows, and move silently benefit from going over 100. What about find/ remove traps, open locks, detect illusion, set traps, ect.?

    I know for certain that move silently and hide in shadows benefit from going over 100. Lockpicking and remove traps definitely don't. I'd suspect that detect illusion and set traps don't either, but I'm not entirely sure about pick pockets.

    Pick pockets does help. You can try a relatively simple experiment by getting it to 100% and trying to pickpocket Ribald. Then, when you do it 10 times and track your results, drink a couple of potions of master thievery and do another 10 and note the difference.

    It makes sense, I suppose. There's penalties for MS and HiS - such as being in daylight vs being in shadows - and a higher skill level helps overcome these penalties.

    There should be armour penalties to MS and HiS (and indeed most thief skills), but I'm fairly sure they're not implemented. There's definitely none for OL or RT, though I believe the manual states that there should be some.
