Good grief. I was reading an article about standards of care slipping in residential homes (I used to work in a care home and I'm shovked at some of the stuff that goes on).
Anyway, there was an article from last year about a home run by two GPs who were Pakistani. One issue raised was the use of bucket chairs to help support people with limited mobility. However, these chairs were being used for all the residents and restricting the mobility of those that didn't need them. There were other failings as well and the couple in charge were taken to court.

However, that is not what this is about.

After reading the article I Googled the case as I wanted some more information. A forum site came up with a much more detailed article. As I read through it I thought that it was a little one-sided but it's hard not to show bias when talking about abuse. Reading on some more I thought that there was a lot of emphasis placed on the couples race. Reading to the end, I discovered the posters signature...'Not all muslims are terrorists but all terrorists are muslims'
    How odd.
I began to look around the site to see what it was actually about and it turns out that it's a white supremacy site. These people appeared to be so fanatical that even the KKK were thinking 'Steady on, that's a bit harsh'.
The introdution to this site seemed fine. It stated that there were a lot of sites out there for people of various religious beliefs or certain countries to chat together on and this one was designed to be somewhere white people could go and share their opinions without having to worry about saying the wrong thing and offending people. It sounded like a good idea and I could see where they are coming from.
However, reading through the posts was a little scarey! People were advocating buying guns to protect their property from immigrants that may move near them, learning martial arts for 'the day of reckoning', saying that something should be done about the traitors in the government who wanted all Americans to go and fight in 'dirty jew wars' and extolling the virtues of the nazi party!

Now, I'm not a fan of immigration as (in England) it has reached a silly level, we have more immigrants than we can handle in some areas and a lot of these people are being given citizenship immediately whereas there are people like my friend Lisa who has lived here since she was 2, has English parents and an English husband but was born in Ireland, have been threatened with deportation.
I don't think I'll be brushing up on my rifle drill and learning advanced hand-to-hand combat to defeat 'the enemy at home' just yet though. I'm amazed that sites like this are allowed, surely they must be classed as inspiring racial hatred?

Their servers are probably on some tropical island paradise where it doesn't matter much what they use them for as long as they pay well... the long arm of the law only extends so far.
