I found this fun brainteaser on a website, and after a few hours I finally got the answer. If you want to know the answer PM me, or wait until I or someone else posts up the website link for the answer:

We did this at school a while ago, and almost everyone (including me, surprisingly) found the answer. It was a half hour well spent.

If 98% of the people in the world can't figure this one out (no time limit) then we're a lot dumber as a species than I thought. This is a relatively simple logic problem that does not require any bifurcation or partial solving -- you can figure out each and every aspect of every house from the clues -- it might take a while for people unfamiliar with logic problems to solve it, but it is certainly solveable.

I'm sure this is one of matters that belongs to the course of "Introduction to Logics." Too bad that I haven't passed it yet, for those phrases could be solved easily after converting them into a correct form. :D

The GRE has an entire section devoted to analytical problems.

Oh goody, the time just flew away at work when I solved this one. It did take an hour or so for me to solve mostly because I kept getting interrupted by phone calls, clients etc. Anyway I think I got the right answer now. ;)

EDIT: GRE? Could I have a link to the section or the site please. These kinds of problems make fun puzzles during boring times at work and excercise the brain at the same time. And best of all they don't include math. ;)

EDIT2: Hurrah! My answer was correct.

I don't have time to look it over now, but I will get to it, likely tomorrow, but if I get tied up for a few days, I'll have some time off coming...

Owww....my brain hurts! I was only able to match up three of the tips to the houses...which means I'm dumb.

Help a mindless idiot out, and give me the answer! :bang: :rolling:

I'm having flashbacks to the LSATs. Almost the entire exam was devoted to questions like this.
