Who would win?

Ok, I got bored one day, and asked myself a rather hypothetical question... If Dante (from Devil May Cry) were to fight with Goku (from the ever popular DBZ), who would win? I ask myself these questions a lot, so, I thought it would be interesting to hear everyone else's thoughts.

So, here's fight 1- Dante vs. Goku

Please post reasons as to why you think someone would win. (coolness is not a viable factor, so, do put some details, please.)

After 3 days or so, feel free to post other matchups, but try not to infringe on someone else's fight... we don't want fights overlapping, 'cuase that would just get messy. Anyway, happy fighting!

 

I haven't seen Devil May Cry! But I would say Goku. He just keeps powering up. It's ridiculous.

 

My favourite who would win scenario is between Alexander Karelin and Mike Tyson, both in their prime. That would have been a battle of titans, vastly more interesting than any cartoon battle.

 

I've never heard of Devil May Cry and I hate DBZ! But I gues it's Goku...

Goku I'm guessing. From what bits I can remember about DBZ he's nigh-invulnerable and uberpowerful when he goes into blondie-mode.

buuut. if my (very) limited knowledge of DBZ is correct, didn't Goku come back from the dead? can't beat that

 

Books vs. cartoons and books would win, so I say that Dante would take a ghetto posse and kick some ass.

My favorite match would be between Mario and Luigi; dare to guess which one jumps higher?

 

@Wirhe - of course Luigi jumps higher 'cuz he's younger than Mario.....wait, am I right?

and for the Dante VS Goku, Dante needs weapons, like guns, swords, or gloves, but Goku fight only with his fists.....or whatever thingy coming out of his body

Goku would whoop him! Can Dante fire a giant beam of energy out of his hands ala kamehameha? Or a ball of enrgy sucked out of other living thngs like the spirit bomb? He very well might, as I don't know a thing about Dante, but I'm still siding with the one that I know.

Goku will win because he return from the death twice, he beat the devil and the gods...

I always wanted to see Atenea (Saint Seyja) fighting against every one of the 3 bad guys (even she had a little fight with the polar girl) but she let Seyja take all the credit...

 

The only way Goku would win is if he could survive the first hour and a half of sounding like he had epic constipation. I'm sorry, "powering up". And come on, do you really think Dante would be stupid enough not to take him while he was doing that?

 

That's a very good point; I always thought that neither Goku nor Veguita should win if someone hit them during that "powering up" but one day Cell answered that question because Trunks wanted to hit him while he charging himself and the "aura" he was projecting protected him from external attacks.
